Jon Greenberg
Jon is a reporter for Politifact whose career includes long stands as a reporter on National Public Radio’s Washington Desk and as executive editor at New Hampshire Public Radio. He’s received national recognition for his citizen journalism projects, including one that attracted nearly 800 posts from people all over New Hampshire giving their eyewitness accounts of the economy during the Great Recession. He has also received several national Murrow best news website awards. As a reporter, Jon’s work on a renegade hospital lab in Massachusetts took top national honors for investigative journalism from the Society of Professional Journalists. Over his career, he’s received the RTNDA Unity Award, the Batten Award for Civic Journalism, and numerous AP awards. He’s an experienced talk show host and live on-stage interviewer, and in 1996-97, he spent a year in Romania on a Fullbright grant.
